Michael (“Mike”) J. Henry is a partner in Dunlap & Shipman’s Santa Rosa Beach office focusing his practice primarily in the areas of Appellate Practice, Business Services & Corporate Law, Community Association Law, Construction Law & Litigation, and Real Property Litigation. Mike is licensed to practice in all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida and the United States Eleventh Circuit of Court of Appeals.
Mike earned his B.S. Business Administration in Marketing/Professional Golf Management from Coastal Carolina University in 2000 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2009.
Mike has been active in the Northwest Florida community having served as a President of both the Bay County Bar Association (2012) and Walton County Bar Association (2013), as well as the President of the Walton County Habitat for Humanity (2013-2016) and is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Walton. Mike currently coaches softball and serves on the Board of Directors for the South Walton Little League. He also is a former President of the Krewe of Dominique Youx and its 501(c)(3) KODY Foundation, Inc.
Mike is a native Floridian born locally at Tyndall Air Force Base. Mike resides in Santa Rosa Beach with his wife and two children.
